Current Research Interests:
I investigate stereotyping and prejudice–particularly biases over which people have little conscious control. More specifically, I am interested in the origins of such biases, the impact of stereotypes and prejudice on members of stigmatized groups, and ways in which people can become aware of and reduce their biases.
