In August of 2005, Katie Schenk began working for the School of Science in the Department of Psychology as the Assistant Course Coordinator for the Introductory Psychology course B104. In April of 2008 she became a full time staff member and is now the Academic Laboratory Technician for the School of Science Testing Center. She graduated from Elkhart Memorial High School and then attended IUPUI where she received her B.F.A. from the Herron School of Art, as well as a B.A. in Psychology. Katie will be starting the LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) graduate program at IU Bloomington next year with the intention of then getting a post Master’s certificate in Art Therapy, and plans to work predominantly with children. Katie will marry her high school sweetheart of 10 years on October 4, 2008 up in South Bend, Indiana in the Historic Oliver Gardens at the center for history.
