In October 2006, Kristi Combs joined the Department of Psychology as the Undergraduate Program Administrative Assistant. In 2007 after April she took over the Graduate Administrative Assistant position in Psychology. Her background includes restaurant management and executive support for two Vice Presidents of a large International bank as well as financial administration. Kristi is currently in the Masters of Social Work program at IUPUI. She has a heart for children in Foster care. She founded and directed a camp for abused children in Franklin, TN. The camp is still operating.
Kristi also has done mission’s work in Southern France, Tunisia and Algeria. She was a member of the first all women team taking humanitarian aide to Algeria. She hopes to be able to travel back there again. Kristi is a foster parent to three beautiful children. Kristi received her degree in Economics and Business from Eureka College. Kristi grew up in Indiana and moved back to Indiana after living out of state for twenty years. She is looking forward to getting to know old friends.
