In November of 2006, Nhan Nguyen began working as the Web Developer and Programmer for the School of Science in the Department of Psychology at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
After immigrating to the US in 1994, she worked at several places before attending college at Purdue University School of Engineering and Technology during the school year of 1998-1999. In December of 2003 she graduated and received her Baccalaureate of Science in Computer Information Technology. During her time as a student she had worked as the Laboratory Instructor and as the Web Designer for several schools and departments including the School of Science - Department of Computer Science, the School of Business - Kelly Direct - Online MBA Program, and the School of Dentistry - Research Laboratory Digital Electron Microscopy. After graduation she worked as the Web Developer for the Department of Environmental Health and Safety, and the Division of Labor Studies. She has devoted her energy to her work and study to fulfill her desire for knowledge, experience, and interests of lifetime learning.
Besides work, Nhan Nguyen has a wonderful family with her very bright two sons and her husband, who is always there for her. She also still keeps in touch with many of her friends in Vietnam, in the US and all over the world. More details
