Psychology gets a new Chairperson
The Department of Psychology consists of 26 full–time faculty members with interests in subfields such as social, industrial–organizational, quantitative, physiological, and experimental psychology. Students wishing to combine interests with cognate fields are encouraged to do so. The Department of Psychology is located in the Science Building on the IUPUI campus, which offers state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and computer and communications capabilities.
IUPUI has 22 schools and academic units and is the third largest campus in the state, with an enrollment of over 29,000 students. Students have access to a University library, as well as to the library of the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Indianapolis is one of America's most livable cities. As the largest city and the capital of Indiana, it is the center for health and rehabilitation services in the state and the location for several large private hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. In addition, central offices for the state agencies in vocational rehabilitation and in mental health are located in Indianapolis.
